Praying for Strong Families & Marriages

   These are difficult times for families & marriages & Christians are not immune.  It is difficult to know how to bring healing into our families.  I believe we all want to have strong families & marriages, but we may not be willing to submit our wills & selfish desires to be ready for God to work.  There is no question that God is more than able to instantaneously make everything right.  But He has chosen to work with us through a relationship with Him.  He speaks His truth into our lives & we both receive & apply it or we reject it.  When it comes to our families & marriages there seems to be this disconnect for what we know is the truth where we have hope for strong families & marriages & the willingness to apply that truth in our situations.  If our homes, families & marriages are going to be strong... it is not enough for us to know what is true, but to appropriate the truth in our lives.  This is difficult as it grates against our wants & desires, but it is the only way the healing of our homes will come.

   Pray for each other that we will know & apply God's truth in our homes.  Remember one another's families & marriages.  Our families are on the front line in the area of testifying to the world that Christ is Lord!!!

Read & pray about Ephesians 5... He has called us to walk, not just know, but walk in...

          Love - (vs. 1-7)
          Light - (vs. 8-14)
          Wisdom - (vs. 15-21)

And as we walk in these truths they will impact our Marriages & Families (vs. 22-33)
