These Are Incredible Times:
These are incredible times. We now have five states that have legalized same sex marriage, & a few others that are in the courts over this matter.  As disturbing as this is we also have churches that once taught the Scripture, not only condoning homosexuality but celebrating it.

These apostate churches are encouraging people to continue in a practice of sin by their faulty teachings & abhorrent celebrations.  This is akin to celebrating people who lie, cheat, commit adultery or live in hypocrisy.  The time has come for the church to remain silent no more, & to be faithful to call all to the truth.  The message of the church is redemption, but that will never happen if the church refuses to deal with sin the way the Scripture does.  The Gospel is the good news of God’s forgiveness, but those who are encouraged to remain in their sin will never come to the place where they feel they need His forgiveness.

While our society heads in a direction that shakes its fist in the face of God and says, “we will do whatever we want”; the church must stand in the truth and call all to repentance and to the hope found in Christ.  As long as the church condones what God condemns, it will be leading people to a false sense of being right with God when they are actually at enmity with Him.  Sin should never be celebrated, but dealt with in humility, repented of & given to Jesus for His forgiveness. This may not be a popular message, some might say hateful, but it is never hateful to share with people in love that their sin, whatever it may be, will lead to hopelessness & destruction.
