2011/2012 Club year will begin on September 7, 2011.
In 2011, AWANA Clubs International celebrates 61 years of God's faithfulness in impacting young lives around the world. AWANA started in a church in Chicago, IL and at present serve in over 19,000 churches in 101 countries throughout the world.
AWANA Clubs International is a nondenominational Bible-centered club for children ages 2 to 18. At First Baptist Church of Fountain Hills, we offer the programs for children ages 3 thru 8th grade. Our goal at AWANA Clubs is to partner with parents of our community to teach their children about our Lord and Savior and also to train them to serve Him. We also encourage parents to make AWANA a part of their daily family time, by asking them as spiritual leaders of the home to daily talk with their children about the Lord and helping them memorize God's Word.
As a parent, if you feel God calling you to serve in club and you have a personal relationship with the Lord, I encourage you to call the church office and speak with Donna De Smet, our club commander.
AWANA Clubs is divided into 3 parts:
1. Handbook Time: this is the time the children (clubbers) spend with their leaders reciting the verses they memorized at home.
2. Council Time: our leaders and directors talk to the clubbers about the Lord, teaching them to love, obey and follow Jesus.
3. Game Time: clubbers participate in age appropriate games building on team work.
Our Nightly Schedule
Children are allowed to check in no earlier than 5:20PM and pick up is promptly at 7:00PM.
Cubbies a two year program for children ages 3’s - Pre-K
Sparks a three year program for children in Kindergarten - 2nd grade
T&T or Truth & Training is a three year program for children in 3rd - 5th grade T & T Reciting Schedule
Trek is a three year program for youth in 6th - 8th grade - their time will be split between Trek and Pulse Youth Group Trek Reciting Schedule
